  • Three sets of Amigo T5R5 system to assist handlers with hearing problems are now available for hire during the training (funded by ACT Govt). Please contact the office if you wish to take advantage of this nifty Assistive Listening Device (ALD). It's free of charge!

The Belconnen Dog Obedience Club (BDOC) was formed in 1975 to provide dog training instruction and facilities for people living in North Canberra. BDOC moved to its current location in Mitchell (or future Kenny) in May 1997.

The Club's main activity is obedience training but many other activities are also provided such as flyball and agility.

BDOC Committee

The club is administered by a committee of volunteers elected at the Annual General Meeting held in August each year.

The committee comprises of eleven members, the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Secretary/Treasurer plus six ordinary committee members.

Committee responsibilities include, among other things, training instructors, organising assessment days and trials and liaison with other clubs.
